This unit is the VICS/RTIC Decoder designed for using together with DARC Encoder (MSG-2174).
In addition, MSG-2172 has a wide receiving band suitable for worldwide traffic  information (VICS/RTIC). Received data are saved into the built-in memories up to max. 420 frames. Data of the built-in memory can be transfered to a personal computer with the attached application software.
Since this unit is provided with an analyzing function, it can be displayed the data error rate, SI ratio, and other data.
This unit can be operated at 100V to 240V AC, and also can be operated 12V to 15V DC (Car battery).
So that it can be used at a place where no AC power source is available.
